A lot is being posted and written about the metaverse. McKinsey (2022) estimates that the metaverse will be worth up to 5 trillion dollars in 2030. Meta, Ray-Ban und Apple are investing in soft and hardware But: Have you ever wondered how to enter the Metaverse? Because as controversial as the topic may be, if you want to form an opinion, the best place to start is where every new technology has to be convincing: Your own experience as a user! In line with our credo of “hands-on” consulting, we would like to help you with this article.
Come along, we’ll visit Deutsche Bank in the Metaverse together
You can access the Metaverse using a smartphone, PC, laptop, tablet or even a games console.
The procedure is divided into 3 steps, whereby we explain each step with screenshots below. We recommend reading the article in full before taking the plunge yourself:
- Click on the following link (at the end, after you have read the steps): Deutsche Bank AG – Decentraland and continue as a guest. This mode is somewhat hidden at the bottom left of the page. See screenshot below.

The reception is looked after by “Meeti” and gives you some general information.
The round, white platform serves as a lift to take you to the upper floors. Wait until the platform is at the bottom, then hold down the spacebar and W (for forward) to jump onto the platform.
Deutsche Bank’s 10 forecasts for 2023 can be found on the 1st floor. From today’s perspective, this is a good test, not only of the usefulness of the metaverse for conveying such information, but also of Deutsche Bank’s fortune-telling abilities.
There is a public viewing space on the 2nd floor.
