Your profile:
- You have an above-average Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences in business informatics or a comparable subject.
- You are proficient in common programming languages and their application for the development of digital solutions, with experience in full-stack software development giving you an advantage.
- You have in-depth knowledge of current technological trends such as cloud computing, microservice architectures, streaming technologies, containerisation, artificial intelligence / machine learning and API management.
- You have a sharp analytical mind and can quickly familiarize yourself with complex topics.
- You are highly motivated, thirsty for knowledge and committed.
- Assertiveness, resilience, a sense of duty and a high level of initiative are among your qualities.
- You have strong communication and presentation skills and social competence.
- If you have already taken your first steps in the financial sector (e.g. internships), this is a clear advantage.
- You are business fluent in German and English.

First day of work
On your first day at work, you will receive a 360-degree introduction to abaQon and all aspects of day-to-day collaboration. You will get to know your first colleagues, including your godfather, who will be on hand to help and advise you during the first few weeks.
The first weeks
Until you start working on a suitable customer project, you will take part in our New Joiner programme, which is a customised training package. The programme is made up of practical training courses and is rounded off in due course with our annual internal ‘Consulting 1×1’ course.
Your day with the customer
Our days on customer projects are usually tightly scheduled and combine activities from a wide variety of areas such as analytics, methodology, problem solving and, of course, personal customer contact, whereby no two days are ever the same. We consciously plan time for reviews, finding solutions in the team, etc.
The way forward
Consistent mentoring is an important pillar of abaQon. Your mentor usually works on the same customer project and already has several years of experience. He will guide your personal development together with you and ensure that the expectations of our client, abaQon and yourself are exceeded as far as possible. Your Personal Development Plan, which you put together yourself and which structures your personal development, also contributes to this.
