THE PROJECT
Our client wanted to modernise, homogenise and digitalise its advisory processes in order to improve efficiency, cross-channel consistency and the customer experience. Based on the business vision, the appropriate architectural target landscape was to be created, agreed and communicated within the organisation.
OUR CONTRIBUTION
abaQon supported the bank in fostering its vision and ambition, in deriving the central architecture principles and in describing and modelling the target architecture ‘advisory’ with given architecture tools. We considered the specific technological and organisational characteristics of the bank, clarified key requirements relating to the topics around functional and data master applications, cross-channel interaction and integration patterns as well as defined the governance of the target architecture within the existing organisational structures.
REALISED ADDED VALUE
The developed target architecture ensures that the initiated projects are in line with the organisation’s long-term goals and strategic vision. In addition, the defined standards and guidelines are intended to facilitate future implementation, avoid the development of isolated solutions and create clarity regarding structural responsibilities.
